Liverpool John Lennon Airport liquids rules
Liverpool still has the 100 ml limit on each container, but liquids can stay in your hand luggage without a clear plastic bag, and so can large electronics.
- Largest container
- 100 ml per item
- Clear bag needed
- Not stated
- Liquids stay in bag
- Yes
- Laptops stay in bag
- Yes
- Every lane
- Yes, all lanes
This applies in every lane and has done since at least October 2024. Older advice to use a 20 x 20 cm clear bag is out of date.
Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
