Glasgow Airport liquids rules
Glasgow still has the 100 ml limit on each container, but its new scanners mean you can leave liquids and laptops in your bag, with no clear plastic bag needed.
- Largest container
- 100 ml per item
- Clear bag needed
- Not stated
- Liquids stay in bag
- Yes
- Laptops stay in bag
- Yes
- Every lane
- Yes, all lanes
The new checkpoints are fully open, so this applies in every lane. Older advice to use a 1-litre bag and take laptops out is out of date. This has been the rule since mid-2025.
Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
