East Midlands Airport liquids rules

East Midlands still limits liquids to 100 ml for each container, but they no longer need a plastic bag and can stay in your hand luggage along with laptops.

The new scanners came in from summer 2025, when 7 of the 8 lanes were upgraded and the last was closed for its upgrade. Older advice about a 1-litre bag is out of date.

Medicines, baby food and duty-free in sealed bags are exempt from the 100 ml limit. Rules vary by airport, so check your return and connecting airports too.
